Incentives

Incentive or ratio comic books are variant covers offered to retailers based on order quantity. For example, a 1:10 variant means a retailer gets one variant for every 10 regular copies ordered. Higher ratios (1:25, 1:100, etc.) make variants rarer and more valuable. Collectors seek these due to their scarcity, and retailers must decide if ordering extra copies is worth qualifying for the variant.
