Refund policy

At State of Comics, we thrive to provide the most prominent experience as possible. As we grow, learn and work to better our policies, they may change. 

PRE-ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Throughout the last several years we have seen an influx of release dates being pushed due to numerous global logistics problems from paper shortages to the COVID-19 pandemic to Diamond Filing Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. As we consistently improve our pre-order policies we are now offering full cancellations on non-comic pre-order items. Our goal in the future is to provide a pre-order experience that does not charge you until the item ships. We will keep all customers updated on the progress as these procedures are developed.

COMIC BOOK PRE-ORDER CANCELLATIONS

All comic book & pre-order items are non refundable after Final Order Cut-Off has closed for that specific title. All art is subject to change and never final until the day of comic release. 

RETURN POLICY

Due to the nature and collectibility of comic books, Pop! vinyl figures and other merchandise we sell, we are unable to accept any returns. If you would like to know more about our Grading Scale please click the link here, which explains how we grade certain items. While we do grade comic books and Pop! vinyl figures, we do not grade other items such as graphic novels, collections, statues, action figures and other merchandise. There is a potential for shelf wear and small cosmetic dings and dents

All items are returned due to undeliverable address, shipping charges will be deducted and State of Comics will charge a restocking fee of 25% on all line items.

EXCHANGES IF APPLICABLE

We typically will not replace items if they are defective or damaged from shipment. If you need to exchange it for the same item for any other reason, send us an email at service@stateofcomics.com within 7 business days. If we do offer any exchanges or returns, it will be for store credit only. 

DAMAGE ITEMS

We strive to provide the utmost customer experience when you're shopping with us. However, sometimes items can become damaged during shipment. Due to recent policy changes at USPS, we cannot be held liable for anything damaged in shipment via USPS. If your item was shipped via USPS Priority or a higher USPS service, you must reach out to USPS to file a claim as they are now requiring the merchandise be returned to them. 

If you feel your item is received not in the condition it was advertised, contact us at service@stateofcomics.comPlease be aware that we need to be contacted within 7 business days of the delivery date of an order to resolve any potential order issues

RETURN SHIPPING

State of Comics will pay for return shipping for any returns caused by the fault or negligence of State of Comics. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. Once State of Comics receives your return package, we will process a full refund minus any restocking fees, if applicable. However, We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
