We sure do offer gift cards. They come with a useable QR code for in store use as well as a 16 digit code for website use. 

FREE IN-STORE PICK-UP

Go to www.stateofcomics.com, add items to cart and choose STORE PICK UP as your shipping method at checkout. There is a $10.00 minimum order with applicable discounts. Please give us 24-72 hours to pick your order and wait for your Store Pick Up e-mail to come in before heading to the store. once you arrive ask at the front counter and have your ID ready. We will then give you your items and you're ready to enjoy! 

BUY/SELL/TRADE

We do purchase collections of all types. We typically pay cash or for any better deal will offer store credit. 

COMIC BOOK ORDERING

All Comics ordered from State of Comics will come bagged and boarded in an acid free, archival quality product made of crystal clear polypropylene Silver Age bag with a 24 point, acid free Silver Age board to protect your comics.

Although we do allow for customers to purchase multiple copies of any single title, all items and quantities ordered are subject to availability at the time of fulfillment, and State of Comics, LLC reserves the right to limit/reduce the quantity fulfilled, and to modify or cancel any order that cannot be fulfilled, or for any reason. If you want to guarantee multiple copies for your order, please review our Previews and Final Order Cut-Off pre-ordering program. 

COMIC BOOK COVER ART

Cover art is typically never final and subject to change by the publisher, without notice. State of Comics is not responsible for such changes and is not responsible to exchange or refund orders for such comics.

COMIC PRE-ORDER CANCELLATIONS

All comic book pre-order items are non refundable after FOC has closed for that specific title. 

NON COMIC PRE-ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Throughout the years we have seen such an influx of release dates being pushed up and pushed back due to numerous global logistics problems from paper shortages to the COVID-19 pandemic. As we consistently improve our pre-order policies we are now offering full cancellations on non-comic pre-order items. Our goal in the future is to provide a pre-order experience that does not charge you until the item ships. We will keep all customers updated on the progress as these procedures are developed.

FREE SHIPPING ON QUALIFYING ORDERS!

Qualifying domestic orders of over $100.00 can be shipped free. Free shipping applies to all domestic orders of comic books, graphic novels, books, magazines, and back issues that exceed $100.00—simply select the FREE SHIPPING option during checkout. Orders that include Pop! Vinyl Figures, Statues, Figures, Cards, Games, apparel or other merchandise do not qualify for our free shipping program at this time. 

Please note: Free shipping does not apply to pre-order comics, graphic novels, books, magazines or international orders, including Canada.

DOMESTIC ORDERS

All domestic orders are shipped within 5-8 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) and include only the lower 48 states. EXCEPTION: New releases and pre-orders that are ordered in advance will be shipped on Wednesday (new release day). Please note that problems relating to credit card status or billing information provided by the customer can delay shipping.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

After you submit your order, the system will automatically calculate the different shipping options available to you and display them for you to choose one. After you approve an option your order will be processed. Please be aware of any duties or fees required by customs in your country. State of Comics is not responsible for paying them.

FREE SHIPPING DOES NOT APPLY TO INTERNATIONAL ORDERS.

RETURN POLICY

Due to the nature and collectibility of comic books, Pop! vinyl figures and other merchandise we sell, we are unable to accept any returns. If you would like to know more about our Grading Scale please click the link here, which explains how we grade certain items. While we do grade comic books and Pop! vinyl figures, we do not grade other items such as graphic novels, collections, statues, action figures and other merchandise. There is a potential for shelf wear and small cosmetic dings and dents

All items are returned due to undeliverable address, shipping charges will be deducted and State of Comics will charge a restocking fee of 25% on all line items.

EXCHANGES IF APPLICABLE

We typically will not replace items if they are defective or damaged from shipment. If you need to exchange it for the same item for any other reason, send us an email at service@stateofcomics.com within 7 business days. If we do offer any exchanges or returns, it will be for store credit only. 

DAMAGE ITEMS

We strive to provide the utmost customer experience when you're shopping with us. However, sometimes items can become damaged during shipment. Due to recent policy changes at USPS, we cannot be held liable for anything damaged in shipment via USPS. If your item was shipped via USPS Priority or a higher USPS service, you must reach out to USPS to file a claim as they are now requiring the merchandise be returned to them. 

If you feel your item is received not in the condition it was advertised, contact us at service@stateofcomics.comPlease be aware that we need to be contacted within 7 business days of the delivery date of an order to resolve any potential order issues

RETURN SHIPPING

State of Comics will pay for return shipping for any returns caused by the fault or negligence of State of Comics. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. Once State of Comics receives your return package, we will process a full refund minus any restocking fees, if applicable. However, We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
