Preacher Gone to Texas TP DC Compact Comics Edition
At first glance, the Reverend Jesse Custer doesn't look like anyone special--just another small-town minister slowly losing his flock and his faith. But he's about to come face-to-face with proof that God does indeed exist. Merging with a bizarre spiritual force called Genesis, Jesse now possesses the power of the Word, an ability to make people obey whatever he utters. He begins a violent and riotous journey across the country in search of answers from the elusive deity. But those answers are going to be hard-won--especially considering what Heaven has sent to stop him. This compact volume is the beginning of the Preacher saga, one of the most celebrated comics titles of the late 1990s. Created by writer Garth Ennis and artist Steve Dillon, this modern American epic of life, death, love, and redemption is also packed with sex, booze, blood, and bullets--not to mention angels, demons, God, vampires, and deviants of all stripes--making for one of the most viscerally appealing tales ever to see four-color print. Pre-Orders & Final Order Cutoff
Pre-ordering is the best way to guarantee the comics and collectibles you don't want to miss.
Comic books available during the open-order period are typically offered at 25% off cover price. Pre-orders must be placed before the applicable Final Order Cutoff (FOC) deadline to receive available pre-order pricing.
Once a comic book passes FOC, the sale is final and the order cannot be canceled. At that point, State of Comics has committed to purchasing inventory from our distributors based on customer orders.
Release dates, cover artwork, creative teams, product descriptions, variants and other information are supplied by publishers and distributors and may change without notice.
Orders containing multiple products will generally ship once all items in the order are available.
Publisher cancellations, distributor allocations, shortages and other circumstances outside our control can occasionally prevent us from fulfilling a pre-order. If this occurs, we will communicate any changes and issue applicable refunds. State of Comics
